DAR LOSU Foundation has been operating in Warsaw since 2022, providing comprehensive support to people with forced migration experience. Our main beneficiaries include seniors aged 60+, people with disabilities, and single mothers with children. Every month, around 120 people receive humanitarian assistance, and since the foundation’s establishment, we have supported more than 30,000 migrants.
We deliver food assistance through the FEBŻ program in cooperation with the Warsaw Food Bank (around 1,080 packages per year) and provide clothing and hygiene items thanks to our partnership with the LPP Foundation. We also regularly organize integration, educational, and cultural activities — around 36 events annually, including workshops, administrative consultations, digital skills training, and intergenerational meetings. In 2025, we successfully completed the project “Падтрымка і сяброўства,” which included 14 events for older migrants.
With the support of Fundacja FISE (WOWES), we launched a social enterprise producing homewear, and in 2025 we obtained the official status of a social enterprise, creating stable jobs for people with refugee status and international protection. We also support women excluded from the labor market by providing a practical knowledge base that helps them develop micro-businesses in the field of home baking.
The foundation actively participates in public consultations and dialogue groups of the City of Warsaw (DKDS Śródmieście, BKDS for Seniors), promoting equality, non-discrimination, and social inclusion. We collaborate with numerous institutions and organizations, including the Henryk Wujec Foundation, the STOCZNIA Foundation, and the Warsaw Food Bank.
